Shivani C. Suraiya, a standard nine girl at Aga Khan Mzizima Secondary School om Dar es Salaam, Tanzania was born on 10-03-1994. She lives in the city with her parents and her lovely brother Parth.
Among her many hobbies such as drawing, making greeting cards, rangoli and dancing, writing to her seems to be a part of life, as can now be evidenced from her second book.

She first wrote the book called "The Magnificant Fruits" (2006) in which for each letter of the alphabets she had a fruit to talk about.
Animal World is the name of her second book, like in her first one, she has focused her thiking again on the letters of the alphabets but this time on animals. Writing is an easy thing to do but knowing what to write is a major task that is why many people do not dare to try

Therefore, for a secondary school girl to have two books in her consecutive years shows how determined, organised and principled one needs to be. Highly appreciated support by her parents Nita and Chandu Suraiya needs to be commended and encourage other parents to do the same
